“Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts.” – Thích Nhất Hạnh

My goal is to share the benefits of the breath as a powerful tool that we all have access to. It enables us to feel safe, to open up, get better at feeling our feelings and expressing the experiences that make each of us unique in a way that is empowering. It leads to real change and allows each of us to move forward feeling connected to ourselves, to others and the wider experience of life.

“After 5 years of therapy I was still struggling to process my trauma and navigate my neurodivergence. One session with Emma released more than all of my therapy sessions had. Experiencing my body in that way, with the care and guidance of Emma, was indeed deeply transformational. It gave me a deeper understanding of myself and truly showed me the power of the breath. I'm excited to continue my journey with the breath and each time discover more peace than I could've imagined.”

About

I want to help people breathe properly to achieve their ultimate health and wellbeing, connecting more deeply with themselves and develop tools to feel and let go of experiences and emotions that hold them back. When we develop a healthy breathing pattern we can learn techniques to develop resilience in our nervous system and deal with life in a more balanced and calm way.

With my own diagnosis of ADHD I have personally experienced the benefit of this somatic approach for understanding and integrating the physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual parts of myself.

Experience

I am a qualified Transformational Breath® facilitator and Pranayama breathwork instructor with experience of working 1-2-1 and with groups. I am also a paediatric speech and language therapist with a background in psychology.

I have worked with young people for over 15 years and am excited to see how the breath can be used with adults in such an empowering way to access insights and resolutions through visual, energetic and felt senses rather than a focus on words, stories and narratives that dominated previous approaches.
