Rapasa Nyatrapasa Otieno

“By being able to acknowledge and access possible stored trauma and negative energy through conscious connected breathing is a gift. My journey into Transformational BreathⓇ was out of curiosity and personal, the release of heaviness since childhood, re-connecting with self and abundance of self-love has been of paramount importance. Today, I am passionate to come forward and hold space for others that are eager to go on this transformative journey.”

About
Rapasa is an intern facilitator who has undergone 200+ hrs of Transformational BreathⓇ training. He is ready to share this transformative journey with others within the safe training program that Transformational BreathⓇ offers. He offers 1:1 sessions, free of charge for his case studies. His background is in music and body movement (contemporary dance) and how it affects our wellbeing. As such he is enthusiastic in broadening his understanding of the body’s reaction to breath as he advances in the course. At the beginning of the year 2025, the Newcastle Hospital Charity entrusted him to provide music sessions to patients, staff and visitors for which he uses a kenyan eight string lyre called Nyatiti. He also founded Nyatiti NyaDala CIC which supplies East African music workshops for enrichment, empowerment, dialogue and as a tool for self healing. He is looking forward to integrate Transformational BreathⓇ in his body movement and music work to connect with the community and bring the calm and warm nyatiti music to his Transformational BreathⓇ sessions.
