This Beltane, join Brenna (Arise Breathwork) and Michelle (Mind Like Water) where we’ll come together to celebrate the arrival of summer. Immerse yourself in a profound journey of self exploration and healing, combining the power of intention around a campfire, followed by a deep breathwork session and immersive sound journey.

Beltane (which translates as ‘bright fire’) is one of the four quarter day festivals and sees members of communities coming together to celebrate the return of the summer. It’s a hugely important time in the turning of the wheel of the year, characterised by a celebration of the return of the fertility of the land. Beltane is a time to cast off the darkness and celebrate the light.

We’ll come together in community (max 9) for a beautiful evening of connection and healing, with a sharing circle around a campfire to kick start the event. We’re so excited and we’d love you to join us!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • 6.30 – 7.30pm: Fire (weather permitting)/ sharing circle/ intention setting with chai
  • 7.30 – 9pm: Transformational Breath & Sound Journey
  • 9 – 9.15pm: Closing circle

Starting with a fire to acknowledge and celebrate Beltane, we’ll set and share our intentions whilst enjoying some chai, before moving into the cosy sanctuary for a powerful breathwork and sound journey.

You’ll be guided through 45 mins of going deep into your breath, followed by a grounding 45 min sound journey. This will allow you space to process anything which may have arisen during the session, further harmonising and balancing your body and mind.

Expect an atmospheric sonic journey combining binaural beats, ambient soundscapes, nature sounds and a variety of instruments including Tibetan & crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, a monochord, buffalo drum, steel tongue drum and voice.

How should I prepare?

  • Wear loose comfy clothing, not restricted around the waist ideally
  • Bring layers to wear outside when around the fire
  • Bring your water bottle
  • Bring a notepad and pen for any journaling after your session
  • Feel free to bring a special crystal or anything else you’d like to enhance your experience
  • Mats, pillows & blankets are provided however you can bring your own for added comfort
  • Try to avoid alcohol, caffeine and heavy meals 2 hours prior to the session
  • Over 18s only
